Gift Certificates are now available to purchase. You choose how much you'd like, I'll adapt it and email it to you. You can then print it off yourself and pop it into a card.
Great idea for baby showers or new births as something a bit different rather than toys, clothes etc.
Below is an example of the certificate and one from a customer who has put it into a card ready to give as a gift. They are valid for 6 months from time of purchase.
Just contact me to purchase one.
As from September 2019, there will be more of a choice of dates and venues over the week and not just on Fridays.
I have made the decision to step away from my current job as a childminder and develop this wonderful thriving business. I have a passion for supporting Mums well-being and developing their bond with their babies.
I am also training to become a baby and toddler yoga instructor which offers more opportunities for my business and hope to see many Mums and babies return after they have completed the baby massage course.
Mindfulness and meditation is a great way to step away from our busy lives and being a new Mum can be quite stressful. Mums need to learn to look after themselves mentally as well as physically. Therefore I am studying Mindfulness and Meditation in order to incorporate it into the baby massage/yoga classes. Even just 3 minutes of being 'in the moment' at the end of each session has many benefits to our mind and body.
So keep and eye on the courses page closer to September to view and book a new course.
Looking forward to seeing you then.
Do you want to know what we do at our classes?
✨ learn techniques
✨ make friends
✨ discuss anything and everything

When not to massage your baby
If any of the following apply to your baby, you should not perform baby massage –
If you have any concerns, please check with your health visitor or a healthcare professional beforehand.
I am now a Neal's Yard Remedies Consultant.
Neal's Yard Remedies offer wonderful ethical, organic and cruelty beauty and baby products.
You can browse my website for offers and promotions, book a party or just ask if you can have a catalogue.
I will be bringing some baby product samples to sessions for you to try. If you like them, I can order them in for you.
I can almost guarantee you will like them! I have so many of the products for myself, I can never decide which ones to use! If you'd like to sample some adult products, just ask and I can bring some along.
To obtain the maximum benefits form a massage, the most suitable oil should be chosen for that purpose. Using an oil can make massage easier for you and more relaxing for your baby.
Vegetable oils that are high in linoleic acid may be gentler on the baby's skin. Linoleic acid is an essential fatty acid that helps to protect the barrier element of the baby's skin.
Vegetable oils that usually contain high levels of linoleic acid include:
I currently supply to you 100% Pure Soil Association Certified Organic Sunflower Oil. Here are the benefit:
Not to be confused with what you see in the supermarket, expressed sunflower oil is a rich, versatile oil particularly suited for blending essential oils for bronchitis, chest infection, asthma and skin disorders. Contains vitamins A, B, D and E.
Registered with the Vegan Society: The Vegan Society are one of the most widely recognised vegan organisation in Europe. They register vegan products throughout the UK, ensuring they meet their strict vegan standards. Registered vegan products do not contain animal ingredients, and the ingredients have never been tested on animals. The processing aids used in the manufacturing process are also vegan. The sunflower is depicted next to all our vegan friendly products, which makes them easy to spot and proves that these products are registered with the vegan society. You can see the sunflower logo depicted on various vegan products throughout the UK and Europe.
Ingredient:100% Sunflower Oil
INCI: Helianthus Annuus
Other oils which could be used are coconut oil, and sweet almond oil.
Always test an oil on your baby's wrist to check they don't have any allergic reactions.
Try to use oils that are unscented, organic if possible, cold-pressed (in more of their natural state, reducing the risk of a reaction) and edible. If it's ok to go in baby's mouth, it's ok on there skin!
Another oil I may supply is Neal's Yard Remedies Professsional Massage Oil
Oils to avoid
Do not use mustard oil because it has a toxic effect on the skin barrier, causing irritation and potenetial damage to delicate baby skin
Unrefined peanut oil, because the proteins it contains may sensitise your baby to an allerci reaction to peanuts or cause a reaction on the baby's skin. It's also best to not use refined peanut oil too. Although it's unlikely to cause a problem, refined oil may be cross contaminated with unrefined oil.
Aqueous cream, because it contains a harsh detergent called sodium lauryl sulphate that may irritate your baby's skin and damage the skin barrier. If it is been prescribed by a health profession for excema, please ask them what they would advice for your baby.
As learning is continuous, and we all learn something new everyday, I have just completed another Baby Massage online course. All courses demonstrate different techniques which in turn, are very useful for me to use and demonstrate in my baby massage classes creating a varied routine for parents to learn and to use at home.
